AutoCAD II, Release 2002: 2D Drafting    Fall 2003

Instructor: Robert Currie

All the skills introduced in Level I were developed in Level II. Throughout the class we we kept adding to the same CAD drawing file. When we were introduced to the paper space and view ports, it all came together for me. I experienced a new understanding of the drawing space and scale.

The drawing below was designed to be plotted on paper size 36" by 24" with a plot scale of 1-1. Here it is ploted to a png file with a plot scale of 20 pixels to 1 drawing unit. A lot of the detail is lost, but it gives an idea of the paper space that was plotted on the final day of class.
